After supper went out on porch and sat until after dark. About 8:30 took a dish and went down stairs in lunch room and got me a dish of ice cream. Brought it upstairs and sat out in porch and ate it with crackers. There was the most exquisite moon and after I had finished the ice cream I took a walk all by myself down Van Buren street as far as [     ] so as to get a good look at the moon. Went up to my room at about nine o'clock and got to be at 10:00. Sent letter to Florence.
