February 8th, 1914
Didn't go to church. Slept until 10:30. Barbara was here when I came downstairs. Stayed until about 12. Hung around in bath robe and [ ] until about three o'clock. Hazel Rockwell came down with her violin and we played. She had lunch with me and then went to work. About six o'clock Barbara came. Made fudge and she left about seven. Purcell was down in the evening. Went [home about] ten. Bed 10:30. Wasn't out the house all day.
