The night of the entertainment "A Day at the Ranch". Ethel stopped for me. Wore my white voile dress. Show went off pretty good. After show I came down with Ethel and Ben Faville. Then mamma and I went back to Greeks and had ice cream. Big crowd at the performance. There were seven in the orchestra as follows:
- violins - Ethel and Mrs. Sargent
- cornet - Schuyler Wood
- clarinet - Arthur Elwood
- cello - Ben Faville
- slide trombone - Mrs. Hughes
- piano - Mae Youker
